Maynard J. Mathison

Maynard J. Mathison, 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 15, 2003, after a long and hard fought battle. Husband to Elaine, father to Loretta, Craig, Tiare, Nickolai and Berne, father-in-law to Dick, Dana, Steve, Terry and Robin, grandfather to Sarah, Catherine, Seth, and Isaac, and "Grandpa Golf" to great-grandson, Kaden, Maynard loved God, his family and life. He was a life- long teacher, loved people, numbers and analysis, and to the end carried a spark of humor. The family would like to thank the doctors, the nurses, and particularly Becky, Maggie, and By for their loving care during the past two years. We invite you to join us in a service celebrating a life well- lived at Evergreen Christian Community, at 1000 Black Lake Boulevard in Olympia, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20th. Gifts in memory of Maynard may be directed to the Maynard Mathison Memorial Missions Fund at Evergreen Christian Community.
