Michael Montgomery Obituary

Rochester, Washington - Michael Tad Montgomery, 55 of Rochester, WA passed away January 17, 2020 in his home.
He was born December 15, 1965 in Los Banos, CA to Dan and Carol Montgomery.
He attended school in the Tumwater area. He lived in Yuba City CA and then Chester Arkansas finally settling back in the Olympia area in the mid-eighties.
He worked in the construction field, starting his career at the Black Lake Quarry in Olympia and then on to other companies such as Stouder General. He finished his career surrounded by friends at Capital Septic and Excavation in Olympia.
He is survived by his daughter Christina Montgomery of Rochester, Grandchildren RaeLeigh and Jeremiah Montgomery of Shelton and Drake Coop of Olympia. His Sister Leslie (Shane) Hernstedt of Shelton, his Nephew Luke Hernstedt of Olympia,his Mother Carol Lowery of Yuba City, California and Stepmother Mary Williams of Olympia. He was preceded in death by his Father Sheriff Dan Montgomery.
He loved to hike, hunt and enjoyed motorsports with an avid interest in Harley Davidson motorcycles and ATV activities. His favorite place to be was working on one of his various machines, riding his ATV in Coos Bay, Oregon and hanging out with his friends and his dog Dazey.

Always such an ornery smirk as if something adventurous and competitive was waiting his arrival. No matter how many miles or how many days in between he always was and will always be a remarkable friend. I love you Mike and I miss you already. I stand tall in saying we will race again for now rest in peace
