Robert E. Pless

Robert E. Pless, 64, passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2005. Robert was born to Leo H. and Dolores L. (Cheadle) Pless on October 3, 1941 in Bremerton, Washington. Robert grew up in the Bremerton area and graduated from Kitsap High School. He had lived in Shelton for many years prior to moving to Olympia in 1983. Robert was a truck driver and Sanitation Engineer for Mason County for 30 years, retiring in 2002. He married Mavis Ross on April 9, 1983. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling to Laughlin, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Mavis; stepchildren, Richard Ramsey, of Olympia, and Karla Benwell, of Bend, Oregon; nephew, Ray McCotter, and his wife, Karen; three step- grandchildren; and numerous cousins. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 19, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater, Washington. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mills & Mills Funeral Home, Tumwater.
