Sonja C. STANSEL

STANSEL, Sonja C., 70, of Lutz, passed away Jan 13, 2014 after a lengthy illness. A native of Tampa, she is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John; son, John Jr. (Keleneka), daughter, Michelle Sugdinis (Chris), grandchildren, Mari, Courtney, Christopher, Aiden, Hannah, Aubrey, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Rudy Ruilova, and James Prado. She was larger than life, a great judge of character, and always ready to serve. She had a sarcastic sense of humor and she was very funny. She was an animal lover. She enjoyed musicals, movies, and always put her kids and grandkids first. She will be dearly missed by many. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Friday, Jan 17, 2014 at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 pm.
