Tears! What a shock to here of Tamara's passing. I had the honor of working with her at WSU. Such a strong women, extremely smart and funny. She was also full of compassion and shared it when I was having a tough time. Peace with you your family and all your friends

Tamara was part of our WSU family, and her loss has left a big hole here that will never be filled. She was more than a co-worker to me, and a lot of us. She was a friend for almost 19 years. I miss you, Tamara <3

I appreciated Tamara's character. She had the self confidence and fearlessness to say just what she meant to anyone and she had a witty character that could fill a room. She had the sharp mind and great wit that could make her coworkers look forward to her e-mails, even if they were about administrative rules. An event with her in attendance, such as Cindy's last potluck, is different and better for her being there.

Tamara was a remarkable person. I was lucky enough to be her roommate many years ago. She was with me when I met my husband-to-be and will always be part of my husband's and my history. She will be sorely missed.
