Ruby Brock Obituary
Ruby was born the daughter of Sanford and Elizabeth Hill Stevens on Oct. 13, 1929, in Hazard, Ky. She was a lifetime resident of Argos. She married Rhondal Brock on Sept. 21, 1957, and they were married until his passing on March 9, 1984. She enjoyed her life as a homemaker and was a kind, gentle person who took care of everyone she loved.
Ruby will be missed by her daughters: Pamela (Brett) Fawley of Bourbon; Kathy (Tom) Bailey of Argos; her sons: Ron (Tomi) Brock of Rochester; Roger Brock of Argos; Donnie Brock of Argos; Billy Brock of Argos; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; her sisters: Linda (Jim) Hale of LaPaz; Bonnie (John) Susits of Argos; her brothers: Herbert (Shirley) Stevens of Argos; Bill (Linda) Stevens of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and Sherman (Linda) Stevens of Bourbon.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Edna Roberts; Juanita Duff; her brothers: Harold "Curly" Stevens; Hobert Stevens; Donald Stevens and Jimmy Stevens.
Visitation service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St. Bourbon. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Argo.
