ADAM B. PETERS

1980 - 2022

CURWENSVILLE - Adam Boyd Peters, 41, of Curwensville, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Penn Highlands Hospital – DuBois.

Born Oct. 28, 1980 in Clearfield, he was the son of Atlee H. and Amy L. (Haulton) Peters. Adam was the owner/operator of Hidden Star Country Kitchen and Gift Shop (formerly Adam's Golden Grill) in Curwensville. He was a three-time Wing King Trophy winner at the annual Clearfield Chamber of Commerce chicken wing competition.

He was a member of the Eagles Ridge Golf Club and was an avid golfer. He was a member of the Curwensville American Legion Post No. 505 and a former member of both the Curwensville VFW Post No. 842 and the Curwensville L.O.O.M. Family Center No. 268. He enjoyed hunting, playing darts and shooting pool with his Pap. He loved all holidays, especially Halloween where he was known for his original costume designs.

Surviving are his parents of Olanta; his paternal grandmother, Marie (Smith) Peters of Curwensville; a brother, Brad Peters of Curwensville; a sister, Heather Ward and husband Jim of Clearfield; six nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Haulton; and his paternal grandfather, Clyde R. "Pete" Peters.

Funeral Services for Adam Peters will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Duane Stiner officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and again on Monday from noon until time of services at 1 p.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Adam's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
