C. Henry Obituary

ROCKTON - C. Scott Henry, 66, of Rockton, passed away on March 10, 2025 at Penn Highlands DuBois after a short illness.

He was born on May 20, 1958 in Hollidaysburg, the son of the late Clair and Emma (Spahn) Henry.

He graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1976. In 1982, he married Tamilyn "Tammy" Bishop of Clearfield.

He worked in Washington, D.C. and Jessup, Md. in the wholesale produce business. In 2008, he and his wife moved to Clearfield and opened Tammy's Garden. He loved hunting and golfing. He recently joined the senior league at Beechwood's Golf Course and was excited to start a fun part-time job there this spring. Riding side-by-side's with mountain friends was always a fun adventure for Scott. He and his wife had many amazing times hiking the Grand Canyon, and vacations in Mexico and the Bahama's with their wonderful friends. He also looked forward to vacations with his lifelong friend Steve Burk and his family. Scott loved fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and his favorite song was "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay."

Scott loved being his son Aaron's biggest fan at his baseball games and watching him grow into a wonderful man and father. After retirement, Scott enjoyed his home on the mountain and was a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Henry; his son, Aaron; his granddaughters, Ella and Charlotte as well as their mother, Brittany; a dog, Bailey; and two cats, Bandit and Kat. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Patricia Bishop; his brother-in-law, Philip Bishop; his sister-in-law, Tammy Henry; two nieces, Amanda and Jennifer; and a nephew, Jeff.

In addition to his parents; Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff.
