FRANK UPDIKE Obituary
Born on March 12, 1951 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Carl and Mary (Harris) Updike.
He married Catherine A. "Cathy" (Howe) Updike on May 1, 1971 in Osceola Mills; she survives at home.
He was of the Christian faith, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Osceola Mills Honor Guard and a painter for Local Union 409.
Frank was a an avid Penn State and Steelers fan and enjoyed watching games with his son and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Frank L. Updike, Jr.; two sisters, Dora Bishop and Jesse Estright; and four brothers, James, Donald, Ronald and Carl Updike.
Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Tammy L. Moore and her husband Mickey of Clearfield; one son Michael F. Updike and his wife Christina of Osceola Mills; and one grandson, Bryson Updike.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Timothy Richmond officiating.
Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the cemetery.
