George Dick Obituary

IRVONA - George E. Dick Jr., 67, died Sept. 28, 2025, at Embassy of Hearthside, State College.

He was the son of Phyllis (Baer) Heverly, and George E. Dick Sr.

He married Cynthia M. Hess on June 25, 1983.

George is survived his wife, and children Jennifer Domanick (Andy) of Lyleville, and Michelle Fleming (Scott) of Penn Run; sisters, Ruth Gregory of Patton, and Cindy Bihun (Paul) of Irvona; brother, David Dick of Northern Cambria; and grandchildren, Arianna, Drew, Nick, Damian and several nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Glendale High School, class of 1976.

George worked for RES Coal as an electrician.

He was a member of Coalport Masonic Lodge 574, and Richard L. Beers VFW 7043 Auxiliary.

A memorial service will be held on Oct. 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., 91 Rose Street, Irvona, with Pastor Ardean Latchford officiating.

Burial will be in the family plot at Utahville Cemetery.
