JOYCE YEARY Obituary
She was born July 11, 1937 in Clearfield County to Orin and Lois (Hubler) Crowell.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Yeary; her parents; her son, Patrick Schmutzler; and a beloved sister-in-law, Eula (Calvin) Mansfield.
She is survived by a son, Greg (Angie) Yeary of Loganville, Ga.; a daughter, Lisa Yeary of Savannah. Ga.; grandchildren, Taylor (Devaughn) Yeary of Lawrenceville, Ga., Nicholas Yeary, currently serving in the United States Navy, and Jenna Yeary of Loganville, Ga.; two granddogs, Sadie and Chanel; brothers, Jerry (Becky) Crowell of Pataskala, Ohio, Neil (Theresa) Crowell of Fairhope, and Ted (Mary Anne) Crowell of Allport; co-grandmother, Lois Cobb of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and many much loved nieces, nephews and friends.
Joyce was loved by everyone she met from her kid's friends to her mailman of 35 years. She will be sorely missed by all her neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, at A.S. Turner & Sons, North Decatur Road, Decatur, Ga.
Joyce would hate for her friends and family to wear black and mourn her passing, so the family requests visitors to not wear black.
Interment will be a private family service.
Joyce would love if friends who wished to honor her memory, would make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, Georgia, is in charge of arrangements.
