MICHAEL MAINES Obituary
Born Dec. 1, 1966 in Clearfield, he was the son of Paul M. and Betty J. (Price) Maines. He was owner operator of Country Auto Sales in Clearfield for 27 years.
He was a member of ABATE, supported the Relay for Life, was a member of Curwensville Loyal Order of Moose 268, and Noble Lodge 480 in Curwensville.
He also enjoyed car show and especially the Carlisle Car Show, loved cookouts and family functions. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by eight children, Brian S. Maines of DuBois, Casey M. Maines of Glen Richey, Caleb Guiher, Jacob Guiher of Glen Richey, and James Guiher, Liam Allen, Bella Allen, and Grace Allen, all of Grampian; brothers and sisters, Leon Scott Maines of Virginia, Susie Mitchell (Dan) of DuBois, Sam Maines (Dorothy), Lori Wisor (Len) of Mineral Springs, Michael Maines of St. Marys, Steve Maines (Jodie) of Marienville, and Graylon Brunisky (Rhonda) of Grassflat; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Kim J. Maines.
Funeral Services for Mr. Maines will be held at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home, Inc. of Curwensville on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sam Maines officiating.
Interment will be held at the Bloomington Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriners Children's Hospital at donate.lovetotherescue.org.

Thinking about Mike on his birthday. Although his family and friends are sad that he is not with us, we know he is in a much better place for him. I pray for the family to have peace during difficult days. My Dad's birthday was the same day so I always remember Mike's too. Prayers for all.

Mike was one of my best salesman I had at Weisgarber Auto Sales when he worked there , Really hated to see him leave when he started his own business . He was a good friend and a Brother Mason. Heaven above has just got one of the great ones.Mike was my employer for a long time ....But in that time he was my friend,teacher and a father to me! I'm sure another of ppl know how much time we spent together at the shop the cook outs car events ext. Mike and my two brothers Brian and Casey where sad about me moving out of the state and we all stay involved with life.Mike and I talked atleat once a week he was such an amazing man and father I'm going to miss you !!!
