RAYMOND MAINES Obituary

MADERA - Raymond L. Maines, Sr., 78, of Madera, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

Born March 14, 1943 in Wallaceton, he was the son of the late Blair and Esther (Frantz) Maines.

He wed Erma (Faulkner) Maines, who survives in Madera after 51 years of marriage.

Also surviving are his children, Julia Droll and spouse Robert, Raymond Maines, Jr. and spouse Patty Hodle, Donald Maines and spouse Christa; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Arch Maines and Beverly Maines.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Raymond was born and raised in Wallaceton. He loved wood working and had been employed at the former Piper Aircraft, Quehanna.

There will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Nov. 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Bigler Fire Hall, 158 Jury Rd., Bigler with Pastor Ben Hardy officiating.

A luncheon and time for fellowship will follow at the hall.
