Richard Muckey Obituary
Born on June 3, 1953 in Bridgeport, Ct. Richard was the son of the late Eugene D. Muckey and Mary O. (Olenoski) Muckey.
Richard was a member of the St. Laurence Episcopal Church in Osceola Mills. He was the Mayor of Osceola Mills and the Treasurer of the Osceola Mills Fire Police. Richard is a member of the Osceola Lodge #515 F & A M. He is also a member of the Columbia Fire Co in Osceola Mills.
He retired as a Peer Specialist with Skills of Central PA (Job Coach).
Richard was a 1972 graduate from P-O High School.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a brother, James D. Muckey; and a sister, Barbara A. Small.
Richard is survived by a daughter, Courtney A. Cuneo and her husband Caleb of Osceola Mills; a son, Chad S. Muckey and his wife Sandy of Osceola Mills; a sister, Lila M. Fugate of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Daniel G. Muckey of Osceola Mills; and two grandchildren Chad "CJ" Muckey, Jr., and Tobias Cuneo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 4 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC at 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA 16666. The Rev. Father Timothy Kroh will officiate. Friends will be received from 3 p.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Following the service, friends and relatives are invited to the Columbia Fire Company, Osceola Mills, for a time of refreshments and fellowship.
