WESLEY LIPPERT Obituary

CURWENSVILLE - Wesley B. 'Rag Head' Lippert, 75, of Curwensville died on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 at his home.

He was born on Jan. 6, 1949 in Clearfield, a son of the late Boyd Wesley and Myrtle Esther (Wise) Lippert.

He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator in the coal mines. Papa enjoyed his time outside either gardening, hunting, or shooting his guns. He enjoyed every aspect of firearms from browsing, to buying, to reloading. He was an longstanding NRA member.

Papa will be sadly missed by his children, Betty Moore and pups, Gary Shaffer and wife Paula, and Wesley Lippert and wife Tammy; along with his deeply loved grandchildren; Allen and Jenny Harchak, John and Emily Shaffer, Ashley and Austin Conley and Samantha Lippert-King and Shaun King. He is also survived by his close friend, Ellen Coulter, and friends Don and Sharie Stiles.

Family and friends are invited for a gathering at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please come at any point to mingle and share stories to celebrate Wes's life.

Was sorry to see this about Wes. Knew him because he worked for my father in the coal mining business. Life is not easy to live and living is harder especially knowing others have passed. But that is life they say. My condolences to the family.
