David Nunemaker Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patti (Bowers) Nunemaker, son John Nunemaker, son Joseph Nunemaker and wife Karissa, grandchildren Tristen and Madelyn Nunemaker. In addition he is survived by his father, Virgil Nunemaker and mother, Joane Nunemaker with all five siblings and their families; Donna Bingaman, Larry Nunemaker, Patty Mcnew, Pam Ebersole, Penny Poper. Preceded in death he is rejoined with son, David Earl Nunemaker Jr.
For the majority of his life he was self employed as business owner of Nunemaker's Roofing where he enjoyed providing the community with amazing workmanship and friendly conversation.
Outside of work he could always be found tending to his gardens. He always made sure to hand out fresh vegetables to family, friends, customers and people on his heart. He enjoyed connecting with nature and loved teaching others of how beautiful it can be. Other than work and hobbies he always volunteered his time, skills and heart to anyone in need, making sure to share his love of our Holy Father.
Celebration of life services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday July 8, 2017 in World Harvest Outreach Church located at 1090 Wayne Ave Chambersburg, PA 17201.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital online at https://www.stjude.org/

Dear Patti and family,
I met Dave when I was in high school, through Jim Tresler and Tim Kneasel. All these years Tim spoke very highly of Dave, saying that he was like a brother. May God fill your hearts with wonderful memories.

Dear Patti and Sons, we are neighbors of you, we will always remember Dave out in his garden.He always made sure we would get fresh veg.from it...the biggest tomatoes i have ever seen, and the best tasting !! I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He replaced our roof 20 years ago. I never forgot his pleasant and easy going personality. He was fun to laugh with, too. He was so kind to my two little girls.
