Deborah Campbell Obituary

Deborah Conte Campbell passed away peacefully on May 16, 2021 with her family by her side.Deb was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 16, 1954 to Ruby and Victor Conte. In 1976 Deb moved to Vacaville, CA where she met the love of her life, Tom Campbell. They were married January 21, 1979.Deb joined Tom in his shop, Wood Specialties, where for 42 years, they designed the most magnificent custom cabinets.Deb was very passionate in all she did. She attended mass faithfully, and when she received a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, she placed herself in God's hands. She put up a gallant fight, working throughout, even delivering Meals on Wheels, and hiking Pena Adobe with her sons eight days before she passed.Deb was so proud of her three boys, Justin, Jesse, and Tommy. She never missed any of their games or concerts. Whatever her boys were involved in, she was there cheering them on, always their biggest fan.Deb loved her daughters-in-law, Crysta and Rebekah. They blessed her with six grandchildren, who filled her life with incredible joy; Deb was routinely spotted giving them whipped cream straight from the can, always joining them in their childish games and antics. She was such a kid at heart.Deb is survived by her husband, Tom; sons, Justin (Crysta), Jesse (Rebekah) and Tommy; grandchildren, Raylan, Brady, Morgan, Averie, Grady, and Eli; her dog, Cash; brothers, John and Victor, and sister, Patti, as well as her very dear friend, Barbara Bulkley, who she referred to as her adopted mom, and who her kids know as grandma. Her passing has created a void in many hearts but we find peace in knowing she is with God.Services will be on Friday June 4 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 350 Stinson Ave. in Vacaville. Celebration of Life to follow.

Deb will be missed! Our hearts go out to her family, friends and Cash.
She was an inspiration to me in her faith throughout her struggle with this horrible disease. Godspeed my friend. Until we meet again - I'll keep your memory alive in my heart.

Deb was full of life! She brought the fun and the energy into a room. She made anyone who popped by feel right at home. She adopted all her sons friends and treated them as her own. She was full of love and compassion for so many. I am glad to have known her. We will keep her spirit alive with through grandchildren and are thankful for all the time we had. She loved kids and her dream was to retire and become a school crossing guard. I hope she is drinking tea, walking her pups and dancing in the sky. We love you Grammie D!!

Deb's joyful and enthusiastic countenance clearly reflected God's amazing grace and His great love for all of His creation! She graciously filled every space that she entered with that grand divinity, and Deb will continue to vibrantly live in every one of our hearts - every relationship that she energetically & happily blessed - forever in our memories of her and how she selflessly lived for others. We praise the Lord Himself for enabling us to share these few very special years with Deb!
