Have soft heart with Mr. Eubanks, we both got to class during Summer School 1964? (learned typing from him) when we found out we both had the same birthday and remembered that from then on. Always smiled and had good vibes.

I can't ever forget "MR. EUBANKS" as he had the same birthday as I did and during summer school he and I were both in class on July 25, 1964 or 63 and both acknowledged we had a birthday that day. From that day on WE always had a smile for each other. He was a good teacher and always felt he was a good person outside of school. I had him for 2 classes over the years in early 1960's.

Wow, 94, and in my mind he'll always be in his roaring 40's. I was a student of his (Vaca grad 1968) , and during one Summer School session in mid 60's, he was my teacher (I think it was "typing") and we were in class on July 25th and we both found out it was each others birthday. From that day on he was my birth-mate. During those turbulent years of both hormones and Vietnam, he was SAFE, an authority figure that taught/showed ethical behavior that was surely needed. I have NOTHING but fond memories and hope his whole life was as good as my memories of him as a person.

Uncle Phil was an important part of my childhood. I loved to stay with Uncle Phil and Aunt Ruth so I could play with Jimmy. I would spend the night and sleep in bed with Kathy but would wake-up and go crawl in bed with Uncle Phil and Aunt Ruth. They were always so warm and loving to me. Uncle Phil was my typing teaching in junior high school and worked in the student store under his supervision. He, along with my Uncle Dick and my dad, approved the loan for my first car when I came to work in the Vacaville school district. I lost touch with the family over the years but have fond memories of the family with whom we moved from Colorado to California in 1954. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a truly good man. Mr. Eubanks was an inspirational teacher. He used teaching techniques that allowed students to explore science not just memorize facts. How many of us became teachers because of his influence? Wonderful man.

Tim, I'm very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful person. I remember him at Jepson like it was yesterday and what was it, like 50 years ago. May your Dad Rest In Peace. Prayers of comfort to you and your family.
