Dear Carole, Marlene and I heard about Barry's passing from Cousins' Roy and Lisa Faden only a few weeks ago. Please accept our deepest condolences for you and your family. I know its been many years since we last spoke but we remember all the good times with so much laughing when we were all together. Barry's wonderful smile and personality were classic. Those Halloween parties and those costumes we wore in the seventies were outstanding. Then we left Philly 38 years ago. Carole, we hope you get
our message. All these years of marriage how many Barrys have we met, maybe one!
Barry Chasen was unique "one of a kind."

Condolences to Carole and the family. I haven't seen Barry for 48 years since when we were all summer counselors at the Vineland Training School in 1966. I'm saddened to find he's passed away and thought I'd add a note from the deep past. I can only remember him as I last saw him, 22 years old, all funny and laughing and excited about the good life he knew was coming. I'm glad to see that it did happen for him, although for not long enough. If this is also the same Carole I knew back then, please accept my condolences and best wishes.

So saddened to hear of Barry's passing. He was not only a committed, child-centered educator, but a wonderful human being. NPSD and its students benefitted greatly from his counsel, as did staff. I was honored to know and work with him.

Dear Carole and Family~Barry said we all have a little LD in us just as all kids have a little of us in them. Barry's manner , his warm smile and his way of handling each of us are vivid. In fact, not even knowing Barry died, I had a warm and happy dream about working together. Life gives you unexpected happiness and Barry brought much to me. (Gifted support at 7 schools~meeting Barry many times over 23 years.)

For many years at North Penn High School, I worked with Barry on SAP, the Student Assistance Program whose mandate was to intervene and help the most troubled students. Barry was a compassionate, insightful and relentless advocate for those students who were in most need. It was a pleasure to sit across the table from him - to hear his banter and sense the deep knowledge at his rock solid core. He was a dedicated professional and a man who also loved his life. My deepest sympathies to the family he loved so much.

Dr. Barry Chasen was a great member of the North Penn School District. It was a great loss to the High School when he retired. Two people (actually more) could not do what he did. All who were close to him have my deepest sympathy. He will surely by missed by many people.

I was saddened to hear that Barry Chasen, Dr.Barry Chasen, School and Clinical Psychologist at NP for many years, has died. Barry was kind and generous of spirit and a great help to so many at NPHS et al, including myself. He was also a fun and self-effacing guy... a good man in the right business at the right time. He made a positive difference in the lives of students and staff. My condolences.

I will never forget the impact Barry had on me. It was well over 20 years ago, but his words, kindness and love have traveled with me throughout my entire adult life. He always told me that I had to count on my own inner strength to get me through the hard times. Carole, Jill and Mark, I hope you find your inner strength to help guide you through this difficult time. All my love,
