David W. Conver

1955 - 2022

David W. Conver, 67, of Blue Bell, died Sunday, May 8, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” (Mathieson) Conver, his wife of 31 years. Born March 17, 1955 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Neil and Sarah “Sally” (Lughart) Conver. Mr. Conver worked as an attorney in the North Penn area for over 40 years. He was a proud graduate of Dickinson College and Western New England School of Law. From his first day to his last, he loved to make people smile. His passion for Broadway musicals was second only to his love of playing the piano and singing along. Traveling was another favorite, and it allowed him to make friends all over the world and fostered his enjoyment of other languages, which allowed him to talk with whomever he met. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. David was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Wyncote, and was connected to St. John’s UCC, Lansdale. He was also a singing member of the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Caroline “CC” Conver of Blue Bell; brother, Peter T. Conver of Lansdale; nephew, Samuel E. Conver (Gabrielle) of Lansdale along with many additional nieces and nephews throughout the United States; and an aunt, Phyllis L. Mascaro of Lansdale. He was preceded in death by a brother, Philip W. Conver. Relatives and friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. A second visitation will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 217 Fernbrook Ave., Wyncote, PA 19095 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Wales. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in David’s memory to Calvary Presbyterian Church, address above, or to the North Penn High School Theater & Thespian Troupe 5464, 1340 S.
