Emily B. Ruder

EMILY RUDER Emily B. Ruder, 40, of Lansdale, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 16, 2013. Born August 25, 1972 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Michael and Donna Lynn (Roman) Ruder, of Lansdale. Emily was employed as a Toll Collector with the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission for over 15 years. Her hobbies included traveling, especially to the beach, and caring for her pug, Franklin. Generous to a fault, Emily will be remembered for her care and generosity to all. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Barlow S. McMasters; her close, beloved companion, William J. Wallace; son, Branden B. McMasters; brothers, David R. Ruder of Collegeville, and William S. Ruder and his wife, Elizabeth, of East Greenville; her aunt, Carol Ann Ferrero and her husband, Joseph, of Montana; her niece, Amanda; nephew, Michael; and cousins, Beth Ann Shick and her husband, Kenneth, of California, and Amy Mills and her husband, David, of Texas. Relatives and friends may call after 2:30PM Saturday, February 23 at St. John's UCC, 500 W. Main St., Lansdale, 19446, followed by the Memorial Service at 4PM. Interment will be private.
