Barbara Scribner Obituary

Barbara Claire (Albrecht) Scribner passed on to Heaven on September 12, in Arlington, Washington, at the age of 93. Barbara grew up in Darien, CT, but moved to Ridgefield, CT, after her marriage to Albert Scribner. They raised their four children there and were involved in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and many sports teams. After Albert's retirement they moved to Scottsdale, AZ, to enjoy the sun and warmth. They both enjoyed and excelled at gardening and Barbara decorated the house with her wonderful eye for design. She also sewed, crocheted, did crafts and accomplished her household chores with pride. They also did some long-wished-for traveling to Hawaii, Ireland and Europe. They moved to Arlington, Washington, following in the footsteps of their daughter and her family. There they could be "Nana" and Pop Pop" to three of their grandchildren.
Barbara leaves behind her four children - David (Gail), Jeffrey, Michael (Denia) and Julie (Joe) and ten grandchildren - Michael, Colleen, Francis, Stephen, Evan, Miles, Troy, Makenna, Emmitt, Nolan and seven great-grandchildren. Albert passed away in 2020.
