Randy Harold Wright, 68, went to be with Jesus Feb. 16.
He was a member of Choptack Baptist Church.
Randy loved fishing, hunting, cracking walnuts, "wheeling and dealing", and spending time with his family.
Randy was saved when he was 22 years old and everyone that knew him, knew he loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Stanley and Thelma Palmer; his parents: Harold and Vivian Wright; and a brother: Greg Wright.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years: Mae Wright; a daughter: Beverly Mallory and her husband, Philip of Kingsport; a son: Scott Gaby of Morristown; grandchildren: Tierra Johnson and her fiancé, Josh, of Kingsport, and Hannah Mullins and her fiancé, Tyler, of Kingsport; great-grandchildren: Adalynn Grace, Luke, and Maddie; sisters: Pam Pratt of Church Hill, Deanna Clark and her husband, Joel, of Kingsport; a brother: Tim Wright of Kingsport; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones; and his furbaby: Susie.
The family expresses a special thank you to Rachael Carter NP for the wonderful care she provided.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in Christian-Sells Chapel with Pastor Keith Osborne officiating.
The burial will be Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. in Choptack Baptist Church Cemetery.
