Lori Nations Obituary

Whittier, NC-Lori Wright Nations, aged 52, of Whittier, NC, passed away June 15, 2023.
Lori was born January 17, 1971, in Tucker, GA, to Fannie Wright of Whittier, NC, and the late Max Wright. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, crafting, fishing and spending time with family.
In addition to her father, Lori was preceded in death by her cousin, Kenny Wright; and great-aunt, Lola Bryson.
Lori is survived by her husband of 2 years and partner of 25 years, Claude Ray Nations; children, Celina (Joseph) Haigler of Bryson City, NC, Saraya Wright of Whittier, NC, Devon Wright of Cherokee, NC; siblings, Bruce (Lisa) Wright of Lincolnton, NC, Debbie (Jeff) Waugh of Asheville, NC, Doug Sutton of Whittier, NC; grandchildren, Atlas Barker of Whittier, NC; nieces and nephews, Dustin Wright of Cherokee, NC, Logan Wright of Lincolnton, NC, and Brandon Wright of Lincolnton, NC, Maddie Waugh of Asheville, NC, Gina Warren of Asheville, NC; very special aunt, Faye ''Granny'' Wright of Whittier, NC; and very special cousin, Sharon (Rick) Buckman of Port Richey, FL.
A memorial of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 2 PM, at 180 Shoal Creek Church Loop, Whittier NC 28789. We will have a meal and celebrate the life of Lori. Everyone is welcome.
