Tottsie Little Obituary

Tottsie Gene Little, 80, of 126 Cardinal Drive, Sebastian, Fla., died Nov. 3, 2009, at his home.Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The family meeting place will be at the home of his niece, Sherry, at 740 E. Oakwood Ave., Albemarle.Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Fairview Memorial Park, with Rev. Lee Shellnut officiating. Military honors will be performed by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12.Born May 4, 1929, in Stanly County, he was the son of the late George Graham and Carrie Mae Morgan Little and was a barber. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean Conflict and was a member of Scottish Rite, Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of Fellsmere Community Bible Church, Fellsmere, Fla.He was preceded in death by a son, Tottsie Little Jr.; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Cross; a sister, Sue Brooks; and a brother, Elered Little.He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Howard Little; a stepson, Dr. John Franklin Howard of Winston Salem; a niece, Sherry Harwood of Albemarle; and a nephew, Tab Brooks of Albemarle.
