David Baue Obituary
David was born April 14, 1943, in Sparta, the son of William Edward Baue and Mae Alice (Hill) Baue. He married Carolyn Hill on March 11, 1961, in Sparta. David was a mechanic for Oakley Emergency Service Inc. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sparta, IL-MO Antique Engine Club, and a pressman for Union Local 386.
David is survived by his wife, Carolyn Baue of Sparta; two daughters, Barb Baue of St. Louis and Jackie Lindenberg of Steeleville; four granddaughters, Jennifer Lindenberg of Cape Girardeau, Heather Lindenberg of Steeleville, Erin Javurek of High Ridge, Mo., and Kristen Javurek of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Eddie Baue of Indianapolis, Robert Baue of Sparta, and Jim Baue of Sparta; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a special canine companion, Baleigh Jo.
David was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Wiley; and one brother, George A. Baue.
David was so proud of his granddaughters for their accomplishments. Jenny is a RNBSN at Cape Girardeau, Heather is attending graduate school, Erin is in nutrition at St. Louis Community College and Kristen is attending Southeast Missouri State University in biology.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, in Calvary Baptist Church in Sparta, with the Rev. Tim McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today; and from 7 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Family for Medical Expenses or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
