Deloris LaFary Obituary

MARION - Deloris A. LaFary, 93, of Marion, died at 5:07 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.

She was an account technician for 25+ years with the Illinois Secretary of State office and was a member of All Nations Church of Marion.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth C. LaFary, Jr. of Panama City Beach, Florida; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson and Irene (Willard) Thompson; daughter, Brenda Drone; one granddaughter and three brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home, 900 North Court Street, Marion.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 2, at All Nations Church in Marion. Funeral services will be at noon, with Rodney Joplin presiding. A private interment will follow.

Memorial donations may be made to "All Nations Church." Contribution envelopes will be available at the church, funeral home, or donations may be mailed to the funeral home.
