Betty Hepworth Obituary
Panguitch, Utah
Betty Lou Skakespear Hepworth was born July 10, 1945 in Richfield, Utah, the daughter of E.R. and Dixie Shakespear. She passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2015. She graduated from Bryce Valley High in 1963 and then married her sweetheart Romell Edmund Hepworth on September 21, 1963. Together they had 4 children; Dixie, Heidi, Brent and Nicole.
Romell and Betty spent their first married years in San Diego, CA where she loved the people and the culture of that area. She also loved the ocean and made many great, lifelong friends.
She loved people and visiting with anyone who would listen. She loved to cook, sew, scrapbook and travel. She lover her kids and grandkids with all her heart and would do anything for anyone.
She is preceded in death by her only son, Brent Edmund Hepworth and her father E.R. Shakespear. She is survived by her sweetheart Romell, here 3 daughters; Dixie (Monti) Edwards, Heidi (Richard) Williams, Nicole (Robert) Robinson, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, her mother Dixie Shakespear, her 5 brothers and 2 sisters who meant the world to her; Rett, Danny, Vard, Ed, Chad, Arvon, Christy.
Her services will be Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Panguitch Stake Center. Viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. and the interment in the Panguitch City Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell Mortuary.

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I saw her not long ago in Walmart in Cedar City after a long time. We seemed to just pick up where we left off many years ago.That was the way it was with Betty and always a big smile. She will be missed.

Betty and I have been friends since our kids, Brent and Cheryl, went to high school together. We worked together both at the Panguitch Lake General Store and the GMHCF Thrift Store in Panguitch. She had a quick wit and could always find humor in anything. She loved her family more than anyone could ever know. May her family and friends be held close at this time, knowing so many loved her

In my time in Panguitch, I came to know Betty through her daughter Dixie. She was always nice and had a big smile for everybody. She has a wonderful family that adored her. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband, Rommel and the rest of family.
