Clair Beus Obituary
Pasco, WA
Clair Evan Beus, 77, passed away, Saturday, July 19 2014, at The Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick, WA. Clair was born January 6 1937 in Ogden, Utah, and grew up on a farm near Hooper, Utah as the oldest of nine children of Evan and Alta Beus. He married Corynne Fry in 1955. Clair and his family lived in Othello, WA for many years where he farmed and also ran a restaurant with wife Corynne. Next to his family, farming was probably the love of Clair's life - he often said he was happiest out on his John Deere tractor. Unfortunately, when the farming economy crashed in 1980, Clair had to leave farming. He and Corynne continued in the restaurant business for many years in several communities, the last being "The Burger Place" in Washington City, Utah, where they lived for 18 years and retired in 2011. In January 2014 Clair and Corynne moved to Pasco, WA to be closer to their family.
Clair is remembered for his infectious smile, his sometimes mischievous sense of humor, his humility, and his love and goodwill to all people in his life.
Clair is survived by his wife Corynne and their seven children, eight siblings, 42 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Clair Evan Beus will be held at the 7th Avenue LDS Church in Othello, WA on Saturday, July 26 beginning at 10:00 am.

Clair took such good care of me when I worked at the drive-in. Working there impacted my life, as did my association with Clair and his family. My heart is heavy for your loss.

Dear Beus Family: We send our love and condolences. We, as you, rejoice in the eternal nature of the marriage and the family. Clair was good to the both of us in our younger years at Othello 69-75. I have fond memories of Clair's wit, humor, attitude, and sometimes long suffering in his custom hay operation that I was employed at in the late 70's. Michael and Wendy Scrimsher, Burbank Hts.

Our family is sorry for your loss. It is hard to go through this difficult time, but it's good to know that we keep in our heart all the good moments, love, and care that we share with our loved ones. Romans 8:38, 39 says that nothing …. not even death is be able to separate us from God's love.
