Clark Segler Obituary
Cedar City, UT
Clark Garn Segler, age 58, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 from complications from Diabetes. He was born on September 11, 1954 to Garn C. Segler and Peggy Faye Lawrence in Cedar City, Utah. Clark graduated from SUU with a degree in Communications in 1977 and married Kimberly Macfarlane in the Salt Lake Temple on August 4 of that same year. Together they raised five children. Clark was an avid treasure hunter, coin collector, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge about coins and their origins with everyone he met.
Clark is survived by his wife Kimberly, children Tearese (Joseph) Gould, Kiera (Patrick) Thaden, Dain Segler, Thain (Anne) Segler, Thorin Segler; eight wonderful grandchildren; and sisters Etta (Mike) Richardson and Ferris (Ken) Sowder. Clark, as you have gone on your last great treasure hunt, we love and will miss you. May our love help guide you in your final quest.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at Southern Utah Mortuary located at 190 North 300 West in Cedar City, Utah. Viewings will be held on Friday, November 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 am at Southern Utah Mortuary. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com

My heart goes out to your family. Clark and I worked together at radio KREC on the weekends for many years. He was a good friend and very intelligent thinker. We enjoyed many a good discussion about religion, politics, history, and the state of the world. He will be missed.
