I was reviewing old addresses in my address book with online information and ran across Scott´s obituary. Diane, I am so sorry for your loss. I am amazed at all his accomplishments but then he was an awesome person with a wonderful woman by his side. I regret that we lost touch all these years ago. I admired you both so much in college. I live in Oviedo, Florida, was married to Edward, and have 8 wonderful children and 26 grandchildren. I´m sure all your children and grandchildren are a great comfort to you. They keep us busy and happy, don´t they? Please accept my sincere condolences and wishes for your happiness.

I didn’t know Mr. McGregor but learned of him through my devotional “God’s Little Devotional Journal for Women” story for August 6.
The scripture was Job 8:7 which says...Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
Then it used Scott’s story of determination through lean times not to give up on his cellular idea and bringing it to reality....Telemac Cellular Corp was founded later worth millions. They Titled the devotion “Finish Big”.
His story caused me to look him up to find out even more about his legacy and to my surprise his passing recently. I want to give my condolences to his family and friends. I’m sorry for your loss. Especially to his wife, Diane, of 53 years, I’m praying for you all.
Your husband, father and granddad has encouraged me in my quiet time...To FINISH BIG!

We have known Scott's granddaughter Emma and her family for years but we didn't know about her grandfather. Thank you for sharing about him, his life, and his passions. I'm sorry we never had the chance to meet him but now we know where Emma gets her love for people, for life and her strength from. Blessings!
