My thought and prayers go to you Jeff and Laurie because he is with Laurie folks. Remember the fun times you had with him Jeff and what he taught you and your brothers and sister.

I met him 35 yrs ago and remember every story he ever told me from fishing hells kitchen, the lump on his forehead, shooting dimes out of the air back in south dakota on pheasant hunts to "Yukon Jack"the old Legend that lived in alaska whom I actually met when he was staying in the parking lot of dixie diesel 30 yrs. ago in an old 2 ton cattle truck with a large camper on it. Old Jack being past 90 at the time verified some of the stories Harry had mentioned. He had a nickname for me that I won"t mention . Rest well my friend.

Harry was a special kind of man that almost everyone looked up to if he liked you and for some reason, he seemed to like me and for that, I will always be grateful and for me, an old tire man it is a terrible loss. Thank you, Harry, for your friendship.

Harry was such a important part of our lives growing up across the street from us.
Then marrying Lou Jean so he truly is family. What a guy!
So talented and caring and loving.
Thanks! Harry!

One a f a kind indeed, we will miss him, I never went fishing with him cause he always caught all the fish, I just watched, and had a great time with him. Cherished memories for sure.

One of "Uncle Harry's" personality traits was to give everyone a nickname. Mine is "90 Weight", and the story of how I got it is a good one! What's yours?

Was in Wallsberg a few years ago and saw the old turquoise and white Dixie Diesel wrecker. Sure brought back fond memories of Harry and all the shenanigans he was famous for. My condolences go out to the family, he was as much a Dixie fixture as the red rocks.

"What a legend and one of a kind!"
We will truly miss Harry. I have great memories fishing at Hells Kitchen with Harry. He was always there to help anyone in need. Thanks for the memories, Harry! Take comfort in knowing that now you all have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
