Jeremy Judd Obituary

Jeremy Judd

St. George

Jeremy Judd, 41, passed away on September 17, 2016. He was born March 13, 1975 in St. George, Utah to Thomas Randy Judd and Carolyn Orton.

Jeremy loved growing up in the Dixie Downs area. It was all desert when he and his brother Josh were young. Together they played and knew every ravine, lizard and bug that could be found. It was fitting they should be together for the last time in one of those ravines where Josh knew where he would be.

Jeremy was an independent soul. He loved to express his opinion, even if you did not want to hear it. He always had another point of view he wanted you to hear, but he would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. His sense of humor was unique and he enjoyed people and having a good time.

He went through the Washington County School District where he received his education. He worked beside his Grandfather Judd at the Thomas Judd Store for many years and loved working and being with his idol Grandpa Judd.

The occupation he loved most was that of a salesman. He was excellent at it and could sell you a Ford truck even if you wanted a Volkswagen Beetle. This is where he made many friends and it was the highlight of his life.

Jeremy loved the best of everything. He wanted to look nice by presenting himself in the best way possible by his dress and behavior.

He served an LDS mission to Colombia where he learned Spanish which helped him in his occupations. He came home with physical problems and struggled with them the rest of his life.

Jeremy was a dog lover and had several in his lifetime. His latest was his pug, Lobie, who followed him and adored him and would wait at the door for hours staring and waiting for him to come home. His nephew Ryker once asked "who is that man that lives with Lobie".

The last few years of his life Jeremy dealt with depression, anxiety, and addiction. He was looking for peace and our testimonies of the gospel and the Savior assure us he will find it. Our love and sympathy go out to others and their families who struggle with these same problems.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Randy and Carolyn Judd, siblings: Jennifer (Joel) Johnson, Joshua (Dawn) Judd, Jami Hansen, Daniel Hansen, Jordan (Jamie) Judd; nephews and nieces: Karsten and Logan Johnson, Kenadee Judd, Katelynd Terry, Tayden, Cutler, and Ryker Hansen, Declan Judd; his grandmother, Lela Orton (91), and his grandmother, Shirley Judd (89); many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He loved them all. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Tom Judd and Jay Orton.

Jeremy, it had been a long time since I saw you last when we were at the dealership together for a short while. I'm grateful I got to know you. You were always so nice and helpful. I really did enjoy and have fun with you the short time I knew you. I had thought about reaching out not long ago to say hello and sure wish I would had. I'm so saddened I won't have the chance but I'll never forget you.
Love always Cassie

Jeremy was always a kind gentleman, even as a teenager. His grandparents lived next door and Jeremy was often there to visit them. I am sorry for the family's loss of Jeremy at so young of an age. May he find peace with the Lord. Love and condolences to family and friends.

Carolyn and family so sorry to hear of your loss. I havent seen you in many years but remember the times at Aunt Glenna and Uncle Scotts. Please know that we understand the pain but that with some time it heals. Never easy to loose our loved one but that we do believe they are free of pain and suffering.
