Hurricane, UT - Lyndon Bradshaw, 90, passed away June 1, 2013. He was born October 4, 1922 in Hurricane, UT, to Hyrum and Ellen Hortense Spendlove Bradshaw. He married Emma Hall in the St. George Temple, September 25, 1946.
Lyndon served in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. With his family he served as a labor missionary in New Zealand from 1958-63 and in Germany from 1963-65 as a Brickie crew chief. After his return to Hurricane he worked with his sons building many of the homes in Southern Utah. He was on the Hurricane City Council in his younger years, and served 2 terms as mayor of Hurricane. He also served many years as a temple worker in St. George after his retirement.
Lyndon is survived by his wife, Emma; children, Linda and Corwin Ogden, (Richfield); Kenneth and Venna Rae Bradshaw, Kerry and Judy Bradshaw, (Hurricane); Taania and Rick Hendrix (Bristow, VA); brother, Floyd Bradshaw, (Kearns, UT); 23 Grandchildren, 42 Great-grandchildren, and 5 Great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kerren Bradshaw Covington and sisters, Carol Sampson and Lila Seegmiller.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Hurricane 2nd Ward Chapel. Arrangements were under the direction of Heideman Hughes Mortuary, St. George.

Mr. Bradshaw was once my foster father and i remember him being a very nice gentle, sincere man. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to family values and church activities. My condolences to his family. CJ

Dear Emma, I am so sorry to hear of Lyndon's passing and I can't help but think how happy Kerren must be to greet him. Your family has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember with roots in the old 'North Ward'. And I have fond memories of each of you. What s kind,gentle and sincere man Lyndon was and he was always an example to me.

Aunt Emma, Sorry to hear about Uncle Lyndon's passing. I always enjoyed being around him and he always seemed to enjoy his silly nephews.
