Ruthann Goodwin
Our beautiful daughter, sister, aunt and friend returned to the presence of her Heavenly Father on July 15, 2013. She was born October 6, 1984. Annie truly lived her life to the fullest. She touched many lives in so many ways. She will be missed more than words can express. We look forward to seeing her shining face and open arms again.
It's impossible to know how many people Annie touched with her life. She consistently looked for the good in others and ways she could help. She lived a life of fun-loving, good will and her heart always had room for more. She was tireless in her efforts to demonstrate her love and affection to her family and friends. She was loyal, hard working and dedicated. She had an unwavering testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
No one can imagine just how valuable and important she was to each member of her family. She made each of us significant. She was our best friend.
Annie is survived by her parents, Brent and Susan Goodwin, her brothers and sisters; Becky Gifford (Darin), Spencer Goodwin, Daniel Goodwin (Amy), Raelyn Pollock (Jason), Robin Harter (Craig), Brian Goodwin, Renae Stucki (Nick), Rachel Seely (Tim), Regan Vaughn (Pat). She is also survived by her 35 nieces and nephews who adore her!
There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 18th from 6-8pm at Metcalf Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19th at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to the service at the 1706 Desert Dawn Drive Chapel in Santa Clara, Utah. Interment will be at the Santa Clara Cemetery, under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
We will love you always, Annie. We take you now from our lives and place you carefully, gently and firmly in our hearts and in the loving arms of our Father in Heaven.

Annie will always be a part of my heart. She had that ability to leave a beautiful mark on every person she came into contact with. Six years since her passing and I still can hear her laughter and see that big smile. She was always a beacon of light and she is missed more than words can say ... her silliness, kindness, intelligence, and generosity of spirit and heart should be a mantra for all.

Hi, Goodwin family. I do not know any of you nor do you know me and I have struggled with whether I should get in contact with you or not. This seems to be the only way I can. I was a passerby on the freeway and was with Ruthann as she passed. My prayers were instantly with her and all of you. If you would like to email me please do so, I would love to be in touch with one of you. If not I completely understand. Just know she wasn't alone and she had another believer by her side. My prayers will forever be with you. She sounds like a great girl and I'm happy to find out she has such a huge, loving family who can support each other through this tough time. I'm even more happy to see she, as well as you all, are strong in your faith and know you will see her again one day. God bless.

To Annie's Parent, please know how sad I was to learn of Annie's passing. She was the beautiful young lady that appeared one Sunday in the pew behind us. She had the most beautiful blue eyes, gorgeous dark hair and and sweet smile. All of us, including my 3 grandchildren fell in love with Annie. We were sad for her to leave but I have am so happy that she went home to spend some special time with her family. Thank you for sharing Annie with us, we are so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry to hear the news of Ann's passing. She shared art books with my girls before she left Morehead City. Such a short life....helps to understand that we all have a time to return to live with our Father in Heaven. She will be missed.

We were shocked to hear of Annie's passing on Facebook! She is a dear friend of our family's. She has been in our home many times, and brought her loving and joyful spirit with her each time. Two of my daughters actually worked with Annie at Deseret Book, and loved when they were scheduled to work together. Annie always had a smile and made us laugh. She had wisdom beyond her years and would always cheer and uplift those around her. We loved being in her presence...we didn't want her to leave our ward in Henderson, NV. She was an awesome Laurel Advisor, who truly advised with a powerful testimony of and love for our Savior. We shall miss her dearly. She will be an awesome missionary for the Lord in heaven above! Our hearts and prayers are with her loving family, and we prayer you will find comfort in tender memories of a beautiful and amazing daughter.

I have many wonderful memories of Annie when we were kids. When my family moved in down the street from the Goodwins, Annie became like another sister to me. She was always kind and an amazing friend. Years later after I had moved away, she tracked me down and always put forward her best effort to stay in touch.
