Thompson (76) passed away peacefully January 25, 2016 at 1:40 pm surrounded by his family in Saint George, Utah. Tom was born in Brooklyn, New York May 9, 1939 to Thompson Fowler and Dorothy Fowler. Tom was the son of a US Navel Captain. He lived in San Diego most of his life. Tom was a fighter from his first breath of life until his last. Thompson met, fell in love and married Carol Diane McCurdy on October 18, 1970. Tom worked for many years in Las Vegas, Nevada as a craps dealer. Once Thompson and Carol started their family, they moved to Southern California. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Seasons Nursing Home. Thompson is survived by his wife Carol, five children Larissa Fowler of Northern California, Kimberly (Ronald) Hutchison, Julie Fowler, Thompson Fletcher Fowler III (Amber), Brittany (Jestin) Smith, step sons Donny (Melinda) Perkins , Darren (Cynthia) Perkins, David Perkins, Daniel Perkins and 17 loving grandchildren. Thompson was proceeded in death by his mother, father and sister Patricia Fowler. A private memorial service will take place at a later date in San Diego, California.
