Kenneth Watson Obituary

Kenneth Burton "Butch" Watson, age 74, of Whitehall Road, Mackville, passed away at 9:57 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
A native of Washington County, he was born on Feb. 22, 1947.
He was a faithful member of the New Birth Mission Church, a 1966 graduate of Willisburg High School, an army veteran of the Vietnam War and a master barber.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Donna Jean Baker Watson on Feb. 24, 2021.
Survivors include a son, Scottie Watson of Hodgenville; five daughters, Michelle Watson of Hodgenville, Aimee Watson of Mackville, Sheila Mattingly (Brian) of Springfield, Kelsi Watson and Kasi Watson both of Mackville; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at the Anchor Of Hope Church with Kelsi Watson and Kasi Watson, officiating.
Burial was in the Baker Family Cemetery at Willisburg where military rites were conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Serving as pallbearers were Kendall Watson, Garrison Watson, Kennett Coleman, Darrell Branden Lunsford, Joshua Lunsford, David Ryan Boblitt, and Mason Harmon.
Serving as honorary pallbearer was Cody Isham.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
