Debra Bell Obituary

Debra Sue (Wright) Bell, 60

GREENFIELD - Debra Sue Bell (Wright), 60, passed away on April 22, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield, IN.

She was born August 31, 1955 in Muncie, IN to Ernest Richard and Mary (Butler) Wright. She graduated from Muncie Southside in 1973. Debbie was destined to be an entertainer. When she was 3 years old, she ran around the house, singing, "Wake Up Little Suzie", with her Shirley Temple curls bouncing on her head. She was a featured singer, in a band with brothers, David and Ernie called, "January 1st", and later, "Turnstyle."

Debbie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She didn't get to go to many games, or meets, for reasons she could not control, but her last outing was to Indy for a birthday party dinner, and to watch her family ice skate. We had a big laugh about that, because the best she could do when she was younger, was hug the wall when she roller skated. She was sweet, funny, kind, and generous to a fault. Her prayer was salvation for her household.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Bell; sons, Cody (Lena) Bell of Greenfield and David (Nikki) Bell of Fortville; grandkids, McKenzie, Kaitlynn, Jade, Austin, Lance Wheatley, Kierstin Gauck (Bren); two great-grandkids, Xavier, and Zain Gauck; brothers, Richard (Pat) Wright and Ronnie Wright of CO, David (Peggy) Wright; sisters, Marcia (Glen) Clark of FL, Linda (Cliff) Bell; sister-in-laws, Lena Wright and Sue Wright.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence (Mike) Wright, Ernest (Ernie) Wright; sister, Mary Wright; brother-in-law, Cliff Bell; sister-in-law, Linda Wright.
