Guy Bertram, 72

Muncie - Guy Bertram, 72 passed away on Sunday August 27, 2017, at his home surrounded by family.

Guy was born on February 16, 1945, in Jamestown Tennessee, to Roy and Ruby (Rhum) Bertram.

Guy married the love of his life, Darlena (Bosh) Bertram in 1981. Guy worked for General Motors in the power plant and retired in 2004.

Guy's true passion was helping care for others, fixing things, and gardening. He taught his children how to bowl, water ski and to ride a snow mobile, he especially enjoyed any time he could spend with his family and friends.

Guy is survived by his wife of 36 years Darlena Bertram, his son Brian Bertram (Bobbie), a daughter Debbie Bertram (Charlie Koonce), a sister Joan Oxley (Steve), two brothers; Erbie Bertram (Tina), Steve Bertram, a grand-daughter Landra Fraley (Doug), two great grandchildren; Madyson and Camden, and several nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Visitation for Guy will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Thursday August 31, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
