Michael Kissick Obituary
MUNCIE - Michael "Bird" Kissick, 59, Muncie passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 4th 1958 in Muncie, Indiana. The son of Ronald and Linda (Hargis) Kissick. "Bird" grew up in Muncie and attended Muncie Central High School. He was employed for over 25 years at Ross Community Center as former director and current rental manager. He loved to play basketball, build bird houses, and spend time with Kota, Alayna, and Kadence but most of all, he loved to eat!
He was preceded in death by his best friend and loving mother, Linda Kissick.
Survivors include his father, Ronald Kissick; brother, Mark Kissick (wife Kelli); sister, Angie Mauller (husband David); four nephews, Mitchell and Nathaniel Kissick and Samuel and Josiah Mauller; girlfriend, Jackie Cooper; her children, Joshua Erwin, Jacob Cooper (wife Robyn); and her grandchildren, Kota, Alayna, and Kadence.
Graveside service will be held at Elm Ridge Cemetery on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 1:00PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at Ross Community Center at 2:00PM. The public is invited.

Always a true mentor, friend, and just down right superstar. Bird you'll be sadly miss, they don't make them like you anymore at the rec centers. My sincerest condelances to your family on behalf of all of us from the 1990's to early 2000's that was touched by your golden heart.
