Alfred Casburn "Cas" Johnson Sr. YORK - Alfred Casburn "Cas" Johnson, Sr., 81, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, in Westminster Health and Rehab in Rock Hill. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. John Muse officiating. The family will receive friends following the service from 12 2 p.m. at the home of son, Al Johnson, 457 Riding Trail Road, York, SC 29745. Born in Whiteville, NC, Cas was a son of the late Robert Neill Johnson and Grace Casburn Johnson. He was a graduate of Clemson University in 1957, a veteran of the United States Army Reserve, and a member of First Presbyterian Church in York. Cas was the widower of Pearle "Sis" Sandifer Johnson. He is survived by children, Sally Johnson Melton (Billy) of York, Helen Johnson Hudson of Charleston, SC, Dr. Alfred C. Johnson, Jr. (Karla) of York; and grandchildren, Catherine Rodden, Clayton Hudson, Cas Johnson, III and Garrett Johnson. In addition to his parents and wife, Cas was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Monroe Johnson, Robert Johnson and Lucta Allen.
