Alfred Nix Sr.

Alfred Cleveland Nix, Sr. WESTMINSTER Alfred Cleveland Nix, Sr., 77, husband of Bonita McAllister Nix, 107 Nix Drive, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his residence. Born in Abbeville, SC, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lillie Simpson Nix. Mr. Nix graduated from Clemson University and retired after working for the South Carolina Department of Revenue as a Supervisor of Auditors. He was a member of Westminster Baptist Church and the Cecil Sandifer's Sunday School Class. Mr. Nix was also a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors in addition to his wife include a son, Alfred Cleveland "Al" Nix, Jr. (Christi) of Westminster; daughter, Jeannine Wyatt (Rick) of Clover, SC; sister, Montez Carter of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Randolph and Jerry Nix. A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 1:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chauga Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the residence.
