Anthony Butkas Obituary

Anthony J. Butkas ELGIN The family will have a time of gathering to celebrate the life of Anthony J. Butkas, 64, on Friday from 2-4 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Mr. Butkas passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016. Born in Hoosick Falls, NY, he was a son of the late Albert Butkas and Josephine Jaronski Butkas. Mr. Butkas was the production manager at Oak-Mitsui. He enjoyed trying to catch fish and camping, playing his guitar and maintaining his pool. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Jayne Marie Zilinskas Butkas; daughters, Rozalynd Cawood and Makenzie Aiello; grandchildren, Gracyn, Josephine, Madeline and Jackson; sisters, Susan (Larry) Manning and Julia Butkas; brothers, Albert (June) "Buckey" Butkas and Stanley (Carmella) Butkas. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanna Day. Sign the online register at www.powersfuneralhome.net.
