Beatrice Anderson Obituary

Beatrice Jacobs Anderson
October 10, 1925 - March 30, 2021
Columbia, South Carolina - Mrs. Beatrice Jacobs Anderson was born October 10, 1925 in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the second of thirteen (13) children born to Reverend Louis Jacobs and Elise Fullenwider Jacobs. She made her transition from earthly life to eternal life with God early Tuesday morning on March 30, 2021 surrounded by her loving children.
On Thursday, March 25, 2021 she summoned the eight of her ten living children home whom she raised in the admonition of the Lord and gave them the gift of travel. Everyone had arrived by Saturday, March 27. She requested that everyone gather for Sunday worship service on her deck, she sang and rejoiced with her children and 5 generations were present, what a wonderful experience. Later Sunday afternoon she summoned her children again because she wanted to say goodbye. Once in her room she said, "I see the angels and I want to go to Heaven". That was her last statement with her children standing around.
Mrs. Beatrice Jacobs leaves to cherish her loving memory, Beatrice Deloris Anderson Burrell, Columbia, SC; Marian Alicia Anderson Roberts (Eugene) Windsor, Md; Susan Elexis Anderson Atlanta, Ga, Vivian Arnita Anderson Robinson (Renwick) Grand Prairie, TX; Dr. Charlene Adelia Anderson Johnson (Rodney) Upper Marlboro, MD; Retired Major Ronald Errol Anderson (Dr. Brenda) Bowie, MD; Retired Major Donald Edward Anderson, I (Sandra) Upper Marlboro, MD, and Rev. Dr. Esther Gail Anderson Holness, Washington, DC. She leaves two sisters, Zella Mae Jacobs Curry and Elise Jacobs Kaufman. Her husband J.R. Anderson, Sr., two sons Jasper Robert Anderson, Jr. and Retired Major Rev. Dr. John Lewis Anderson preceded her in death as well as parents and 10 of her siblings. She left over 140 grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren (five generations). She was the proudest grandmother when her first grandchild Michael Paul arrived after which the flood gate of grandchildren flowed. She has hundreds of nieces, nephews and a host of relative and friends. She has now joined the ancestors, but her memory will live on forever. Gone but NEVER forgotten.
