Being friends with Bobbie Furman was easy—and it was a privilege. She was always conscientious and always went the extra mile. She faithfully sent out notices to members of the Fairfax Garden Club,on time, accurately, for years. When she was the hostess, she did not content herself with just a light snack. We had a REAL lunch—with enough food to serve twice as many members. When she helped with refreshments for events of the Allendale County Family and Community Leaders, she provided double or triple the quantity of food or drink requested. And when enlisted to serve at a ticket or registration table, she got there early and stayed late.
One of Bobbie’s most endearing habits was to say “I love you!” to those who were her friends, whenever we met and whenever we parted and sometimes in between.
Bobbie, you were such a kind, loving, giving,GOOD person. We’ll really miss you. But just remember one thing: we ALL loved YOU!
Sincerely,
Mim Bryan,fellow club member.

Mr. CLyde I am sorry about the loss of your wife. She was a wonderful sweet lady and I know you loved her dearly. I always thought it was so touching when you would talk to her on the phone and say such sweet things and call her darling. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
