Charles Goodwin Obituary

HOPKINS - Funeral services for Charles Edward Goodwin of 130 Sumter Valley Road will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008, at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family has entrusted J.P. Holley Funeral Home with final arrangements.

Mr. Goodwin died Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Born in Hopkins, he was the son of Annie Bell Sumter Goodwin and the late Erlick Goodwin. He was a member of the St. John Baptist Church.

Mr. Goodwin is lovingly survived by his wife, Mary Floyd Goodwin; daughters, Bridget Floyd, Peaches McEachern, Rolanda Goodwin; brothers, Ronald Goodwin, Earl Goodwin; sisters, Shirley Green, Linda Edwards, Rosetta Sims, Brenda Goodwin, Loratta Scott, Eliza Simmons, Betty Jo Goodwin, Annette Goodwin; seven grandchildren.
