He was the son of the late Charles Allen Hindman and Donna Hutto Hindman. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Bamberg, SC, and was employed by Bellwright Industries, Summerville, SC. He enjoyed playing golf and loved fishing and the Edisto River.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Bamberg, SC, with Rev. Kelly Shanks officiating. Burial to follow in Bamberg County Memory Gardens, Bamberg, SC.
Survivors are his mother, Donna Hindman; his grandmother, Mrs. Merle Hindman of Bamberg; 1 brother, Shane Hindman of Bamberg; 2 sisters, Alicia and Brandon Bell of Bamberg, SC, and Allison and Howard Kirkland of Bamberg, SC; 3 nephews, Kevin and Justin Bell and Robert Kirkland. He was predeceased by his father, Allen Hindman, paternal grandfather, Gene Hindman and maternal grandparents, Clyde and Betty Hutto.
Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cooner Funeral Home in Bamberg, SC. Memorials may be made to South Carolina Bank and Trust, PO Box 59, Bamberg, SC 29003, in Christopher Hindman’s name. Family will receive friends and relatives at the home of Mrs. Merle Hindman, 2858 Railroad Ave., Bamberg, SC 29003.
