Corneilius Selke Obituary

Corneilius Arthur Selke COLUMBIA - Corneilius Arthur Selke (Neil) of Columbia, SC - A Memorial Service for Corneilius Arthur Selke (Neil) will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 Saint Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212, the church will be open at noon for family and friends to gather prior to the service. Visitation will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 1541 Lake Murray Boulevard at 7 PM to 9 PM, Friday, April 20, 2018. Neil Selke, age 30, was a 2006 graduate of Dutch Fork High School. While a student there, he was on the 2003 State Championship wrestling team and a three-time SC Individual State Champion. Neil Selke served in the Virginia National Guard 180th Engineering Division in Powhatan, Virginia and was the lead craftsman of the stained-glass studio at Shenandoah Restorations, Inc. in Irmo, SC. He is survived by his wife Paige, of Columbia, SC; his son, Gerhard, of Winchester, VA; his parents Todd and Shari Selke, of Irmo, SC; his sisters, Karleigh England (Matthew), of Haines City, Fl; Andrea Doty (James), living in Guangzhou, China; and his brother Todd Selke, Jr. (Megan) of Kingsland, GA. He is also survived by his paternal Grandmother, Donna Riggle, of Winona, MN. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the District 5 Foundation Athletics Project for underprivileged children. Mount Olive is grateful to St. Andrews for hosting the funeral service.

So sorry for your loss. We only knew Neil a short time but his legacy will live in our Church Sanctuary for many many years to come. Neil's gifts and God given talent are on display for all to see through our beautiful glass. He is missed tremendously, but certainly not forgotten!
