Thinking back at all the times we shared together at Fort Jackson while I was station there from Dec 1997- Nov 2000. "Big D" listening to your stories of when you were a soldier in Army made me to be a better person. You gave me alot of advise on the counter you lean on in the warehouse of the hospital were we work. One advise stick out alot. When i got promoted to Sgt you told me to remember "Those stripes cover you shoulder's not your behind, so know how to treat people". You made me laugh at all the funny stories that you told me about your life. You were truly my father away from home and will sadly be miss by me. When i saw you in the Oct I could tell you were getting tired but you still was the same Big D making jokes and wanting a Pepsi soda, and yes i gave him one.
To the Goodwin Family stay strong & put your hands in Gods unchanging hand & I promise he will lead the way.

To The Goodwin Family;
Our hearts, thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this time of bereavement. I pray that "God" will give you strength to make it through this troubled time. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Remember all your help comes from the "Lord" and the sun will shine again. We love all of you.
