Dewey Gaither Obituary

Dewey Tyrone Gaither, Sr. COLUMBIA - Dewey T. Gaither, Sr., son of the late Lucille and David Washington Gaither, was born January 26, 1944. He passed away on January 28, 2018, at his home. In 1975, while visiting his family in Liberia, Dewey met his wife, Victoria. worked for many years in the insurance industry. He worked to improve the agriculture by selling seeds during his travels between the United States and Libera. He also worked for Wagon Hut Security in Liberia from 1975 to 2017. He is survived by his wife, Victoria; children: Tisa, Tyrone, David, Tia, Ronda, Dewey A, and Dewey Jr.; sister, Patricia Ross, two brothers, Waverly and Roger Gaither; 16 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, Rachel Marie; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. The homegoing service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, 11:00 am at Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home. Flowers and condolences may be sent by visiting www.bosticktompkinsinc.com.
